Monica Logan is the Vice President of Program Quality for the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA). She has lead responsibility for the development and implementation of all organizational activities that support the expansion of high-quality summer learning opportunities.
Prior to joining NSLA, Monica served as the Director of Youth Programs for a community development organization in Baltimore City, MD. In her role, she served over 30,000 young people in under resourced communities, and has an extensive track record of successful fundraising, after-school and summer program management and development, and team leadership.
Monica holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore with a concentration in community organizing and clinical practice. She also has a bachelor's degree in social work and Africana studies, certification in Advancing Youth Development, and is Licensed Graduate Social Worker.
