Develop a shared vision for and understanding of summer learning quality with your peers. Learn to take a critical eye to components of a program’s infrastructure and point-of-service delivery by using the CASP rating scale. Participate in a mock program assessment to gain understanding of the capacity of each part of the CASP assessment process.
 
Discuss tips for translating quality assessments into objective, actionable feedback to support program improvement. Walk away with a powerful, comprehensive summer program quality assessment tool that includes:
  • Document Review
  • Interview
  • Survey
  • Observation
  • Electronic Score Tracking Tool
Participants must attend 2 introductory on-line classes prior to attending the 2-day training. Information for accessing these classes will be sent upon receipt of your registration. These classes will develop important background knowledge that will not be repeated in the CASP Assessor Training.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided
